Do you want long, strong hair? Are you tired of wasting money on products that don’t work?
These 3 healthy hair habits that promote hair growth are guaranteed to give you the results you’re looking for!
Air In Your Room
The air in your home can become very dry overnight. Using a humidifier and covering your hair with a satin bonnet or scarf traps the moisture in, making your hair easier to manage in the morning. For added
protection, sleep on a satin pillowcase. If your scarf or bonnet happens to slip off at night, your satin pillowcase will become the next line of protection against dry, frizzy, snagged hair. Look for adjustable
bonnets for a better fit at night. Even if your scarf or bonnet stays on, sleeping on a satin pillowcase on top of that can do wonders for retaining moisture in your hair. If you can afford to do so, silk is a much
better material for the hair. When searching for silk scarves or bonnets, look for those that say “charmeuse silk” or sometimes called “silk charmeuse.”
Stimulate Your Scalp
Peppermint essential oil rejuvenates your hair follicles and will help your hair grow by increasing the ‘hair follicles’ activities and also shielding them from germs and yeasts. In the long run, this is going to make the follicles live longer and be more productive. All you need to do is check the ingredients on your hair products. If it doesn’t say peppermint essential oil, it is also listed as Mentha piperita. If you enjoy do-it-yourself projects, I’m listing a recipe that I use and have found to be highly effective.
DIY Hair Recipe
- Use with Caution: peppermint oil, although very efficient, can be very irritating to your scalp and may even cause inflammations if applied in excess! It is a very powerful essential oil, which is why you
have to avoid using it directly on your scalp. It must be diluted with other ingredients to increase its benefits and lower its side effects. - 1 tsp vitamin E oil
- 4 tbsp coconut oil
- 10 drops peppermint oil (start with 5 drops if you have a sensitive scalp)
- Mix all ingredients until they are well blended. Apply this amazing peppermint oil recipe to your scalp daily for best results.
Tools to Use lt
The right tools are just as important as the right products if you want healthy hair. The Denman traditional styling brush features 7 rows of medium bristles and an anti-static rubber pad with close-set
nylon pins that provide maximum grip and control. Smooth, round-ended pins penetrate the hair safely for gentle styling without damage. Perfect for styling medium to long hair. This is a personal favorite.
This brush usually costs $10-$15.
