Uttarakhand formerly known as Uttaranchal is a state located in Northern India. This was hunkered from the north western districts of Uttar Pradesh and the adjoining Himalayan Ranges on 9th November 2000. The state has numerous pious Hindu temples, so it is called the land of Gods.
